How to park with the app

Find parking
With the feature ”Find” in the app you can easily locate nearby parking spots. On the map you can see the location and the address of the specific parking space. Once you find a parking spot close to your destination you can also see the necessary information including parking times, hourly rates and zone codes. If you prefer, you can search for a zonecode, street or city using the search field.

Start parking
Find your chosen parking by clicking ”Find”, or search for it entering zonecode, street or city, for example. The zone code can be found on a sign not far from your car. If you recently parked on the same address, this parking spot is saved in your presets. While at it, you can easily change your automatic stop time as well. The automatic stop time is there for you in case you forget to terminate your parking manually. Go ahead and adjust your stop time, and then choose ”Choose car and park”. Done!

Extend your parking
Just like you can stop your parking before your estimated time is up, you can extend the time whenever you want to. The feature “Tickets” in the app shows your active parkings and allows you to extend or change your check out time. Please notice that some parking spots have a time limit that is beyond Parkster’s control.

How to park with SMS

Parkster’s SMS service allows you to park without downloading an app. You don’t need to create an account, no fees are added to your phone bill and you only pay for the amount of time your car is parked (sms fees can apply).


Start parking

  1. Find the zone code of your parking spot. The code is clearly visible on a sign close to your parking spot.

  2. Send zone code, registration number and social security number to
    +46 707-13 14 15.
    For example: 12345 ABC123 7106061325. For your SMS-parking to be correct you need to make sure you get a confirmation to the phone you sent your message from. Next time you park, you don’t need to send your social security number. From your second parking you just need to send the zone code and your registration number.

  3. Pay at the end of the month. All your parkings are put on one collective bill.

    Extend your parking

    Send the word “Extend” to +46 707-13 14 15.
    When you get an SMS confirmation with your new check out time, your parking is extended. You can continue to extend your parking as many times you like. If you’d like to stop your parking before your time is up, this is just as easily done.

    Stop parking

    Send the word ”Stop” to +46 707-13 14 15.
    Once you stop your parking you get a confirmation text saying you’ve checked out.
